An immediate recall notice has been announced for a popular pasta product available at Morrisons due to an undisclosed allergen risk, as per the UK Food Standards Agency.

Morrisons is removing its Coronation Chicken Pasta from shelves because some packs may contain Florida Salad, which contains milk not listed on the packaging. This poses a potential health hazard to individuals with milk allergies or intolerances. The affected batch weighs 230g, has an expiration date of June 30, 2026, and bears the batch code GBB 584 031.

Consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance who have bought the product are advised not to consume it and to return it to the nearest store promptly.

The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall notice, stating that Morrisons is recalling the product and has contacted allergy support organizations to inform their members about the recall. The company has also issued a notice to customers at the point of sale.

For comprehensive information on all product recalls, reliable sources include the Food Standards Agency and Chartered Trading Standards Institute websites.

Moreover, stores where a product has been withdrawn from sale should prominently display recall notices, as reported by Chronicle Live.
