Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a stern warning to Russia, revealing plans for an intensive 40-day “influence operation” that will target key personnel and equipment in an effort to compel Russian President Vladimir Putin to halt the ongoing conflict.

Recent months have seen an escalation of Ukrainian attacks deep inside Russian territory, utilizing advanced mid and long-range drones to strike at vital targets in Moscow and inflict significant damage on critical infrastructure.

Reports indicate that two additional Russian oil facilities, located in Ufa and the Krasnodar region, were targeted and struck on Wednesday night, further intensifying the pressure on Russia.

Zelensky has authorized Ukraine’s SBU security service to implement a comprehensive 40-day strategy aimed at weakening Russia and forcing Putin to end the hostilities. The President made this announcement on social media, emphasizing the effectiveness of Ukraine’s drone operations in defending against Russian forces.

Ukraine’s sustained campaign against Russian military installations and energy sites has resulted in fuel shortages and disrupted supply lines, impeding Moscow’s military advances following years of conflict.

Overnight drone attacks targeted multiple regions in Russia, including Crimea, the Azov, and the Black Sea regions, marking a significant escalation in Ukrainian offensive operations.

Zelensky revealed that Russia is bolstering its air defense systems in key locations, including Moscow, Valdai, and the Kerch Bridge, a crucial link between Crimea and mainland Russia. The Ukrainian President highlighted the concentration of air defense resources in the Moscow region and the redeployment of launchers to Valdai from other Russian areas.

Ukrainian drones have successfully struck major Russian cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as strategic locations like the Kerch Bridge, underscoring Ukraine’s efforts to disrupt Russian operations in the region.

Zelensky suggested that the realignment of Russian air defenses could leave vulnerable areas exposed to Ukraine’s advanced long-range drones, capable of operating over extended distances.
