Ben Laing’s goal was to create lasting memories for his two sons, Alfie and James. Alfie, 12, was even granted permission to leave school early for a flight to the United States to kick off the tournament. Explaining his decision, Ben, a 50-year-old scaffold product manager from Liverpool, mentioned that the overall expenses covered match tickets, hotels, and flights. Despite not being able to afford England tickets, the family is looking forward to the unique cultural and educational experiences the trip offers.
