Essex Police are seeking assistance in locating a pair of missing £1,000 Louis Vuitton trainers that belonged to a 21-year-old man, Jack Sullivan, who was reportedly kidnapped and later found severely injured before succumbing to his injuries in a hospital. The incident occurred in Waltham Abbey, Essex, with a black Mitsubishi Outlander believed to have been used in the kidnapping, now recovered by authorities.
Detectives are actively investigating the murder case and have identified the stolen vehicle used in the crime as bearing the registration HY16 FZR, although this is not its true registration plate. They are urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle between June 3 and June 23, when it was abandoned in Waltham Cross, to come forward with information.
Additionally, the police are appealing for help in locating Jack’s valuable blue Louis Vuitton trainers, emphasizing their worth and the possibility that someone may be wearing or attempting to sell them unknowingly. Three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case and have been released on conditional bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood, leading the investigation, expressed the commitment to providing answers for Jack’s family and urged anyone with relevant information about the Mitsubishi Outlander or the missing trainers to provide details through Essex Police’s public portal.
