Although Kuwait’s air defenses intercepted the Fateh-110 missile, debris from the interception hit the base, resulting in approximately five individuals sustaining minor injuries, including contractors and active duty personnel. One MQ-9 Reaper was destroyed, and another suffered serious damage, with each drone estimated to cost around $30 million.
Meanwhile, tensions escalate as the US signals readiness to resume hostilities with Iran if a peace agreement cannot be reached.
