The family of a British rugby player has honored him following his recent death. Scot James passed away after an alleged assault while vacationing in Turkey, which left him in a critical condition. He was flown back to Wales from Turkey via air ambulance and sadly died at The Royal Glamorgan hospital. Scot’s family has released a tribute, describing him as a beloved son, grandson, brother, partner, father, uncle, and friend known for his warmth, humor, and ability to unite people.

The family expressed profound sadness over Scot’s loss, emphasizing the irreplaceable impact he had on their lives. They thanked everyone for the support shown during this challenging time and requested privacy as they mourn his passing. Scot’s former rugby club, Maesteg Celtics RFC, also paid tribute to him on social media, remembering him as an exceptional player and a cherished companion.

A spokesperson from the FCDO confirmed their support for the family of the deceased British national and stated that they are in contact with the local authorities regarding the incident in Turkey. The Mirror has reached out to Turkish authorities for further comments.
