Blue Origin has released a statement following a significant explosion at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The incident occurred just after 9 pm local time on Thursday, May 28, with a fire visible at the rocket’s base, accompanied by a large, bright yellow plume.
The company, founded and owned by billionaire entrepreneur Jeff Bezos, issued an update on the event. In a communication on X, the official Blue Origin account stated, “We encountered an anomaly during today’s hotfire test. All personnel have been safely located. Further updates will be provided as we gather more information.”
