Local sources confirm the presence of a fireboat at the crash site.
Initial information suggests that the downed aircraft may have belonged to Kenmore Air, crashing on the shore of Sucia Island within the San Juan Islands archipelago.
The crash happened around 5:22 pm amidst thunderstorms in the area, according to Flight Radar data.
