The rescue center highlighted the severity of the situation, emphasizing that Mr. Star had dangerously low blood levels and had lost a significant amount of blood. Amanda Ball, a co-founder of Severn Valley Rescue, initiated a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to cover the cat’s extensive medical expenses, which are anticipated to be substantial.
Currently, Mr. Star is undergoing treatment to stabilize his condition before undergoing a necessary leg amputation. The fundraiser has already exceeded £500, a significant portion of the total goal. Authorities have been informed of the incident, and the center is actively seeking information from the public to identify the perpetrator.
