Former President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran regarding any potential plot to assassinate him, stating that the US military is prepared to “completely destroy and obliterate all parts of Iran” in response. The escalating tensions between the US and Iran have flared up once again, with President Trump announcing the end of the ceasefire between the two nations and new strikes targeting Tehran this week.

Amidst these developments, Iranian protesters have openly called for Trump’s assassination, displaying banners and signs at the funeral of Iran’s late supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in earlier US-Israeli strikes this year. Reports suggest that Iran has been actively seeking the President’s assassination since 2020, following Trump’s order to strike and eliminate Iran’s military commander, Qasem Soleimani.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump responded to the threat by revealing that the US has 1000 missiles ready to strike Iran, with more to follow if necessary. He emphasized that the US military is prepared to take action against Iran for an extended period to eliminate any threats. Trump also dismissed recent intelligence shared by Israel about a possible assassination plan, stating that he has been a target on Iran’s list for some time.

The President further warned that if any Iranian plot were to succeed, the US would respond with unprecedented levels of force. The ceasefire agreement was suspended after Iran launched missile attacks on oil and gas vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, leading to renewed US strikes on Iranian targets. Trump’s cautious security measures were evident as he changed planes on his return from the NATO summit in Turkey, opting for an older jet over Air Force One as a safety precaution.

During the summit, Trump acknowledged the ongoing threats against him, expressing uncertainty about his own safety due to being a prime target. Despite the challenges, Trump remains resolute in his stance against Iran’s aggressive actions.
