Donald Trump’s gold MAGA phone is finally being delivered to customers after facing delays. Trump Mobile CEO Pat O’Brien announced that pre-ordered phones are now being shipped to customers after experiencing delays due to quality checks and market entry processes.
Questions have been raised by analysts regarding the phone’s origin, as initial branding suggested it would be made in the USA. However, comparisons to existing Android models have raised doubts. Trump Mobile has since stated that the device was designed with American values in mind, without specifying its manufacturing location. Recent updates to the company’s website terms and conditions have added to the scrutiny surrounding the product.
Customers who paid a $100 deposit for the $499 ‘T1’ device will receive updates as shipments commence, although the deposit does not guarantee a purchase. Trump Mobile initially planned to launch the phone in August of the previous year, citing high demand for the product despite criticism of the rollout.
A monthly 5G plan for the phone is priced at $47.45, with Trump being the 45th and 47th US president. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing shortly after US President Trump completed his state visit to China. The meeting is scheduled to discuss bilateral relations, international issues, and economic cooperation, reflecting the deepened ties between China and Russia in recent years.
During Putin’s previous visit to China in 2025, Xi referred to him as an “old friend,” highlighting the strong relationship between the two leaders. Putin is also expected to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shenzhen later in the year.
