Leo Timney-Peers, described as vibrant by his devastated mother Keeley Timney, suddenly collapsed while they were en route to seek medical assistance. Keeley mentioned that Leo had been unwell throughout the day on Thursday, May 14, prompting her decision to take him to a walk-in center. Unfortunately, Leo collapsed while they were in St Helens, Merseyside. Keeley immediately initiated CPR on her son, with two bystanders—a man and a woman—joining in to assist her in resuscitation efforts.
Subsequently, an ambulance arrived promptly and transported Leo to Whiston Hospital. Despite the combined efforts of everyone involved, Leo tragically passed away later that day.
In a heartfelt interview with the Liverpool Echo, Keeley expressed her gratitude for the strangers who selflessly aided them, stating that while many people tried to help while Leo was in the ambulance, nothing could alleviate the heart-wrenching situation.
