Sky TV customers are in for a change starting today, April 30, as the telecoms and TV company revamps its Cinema channel lineup. The merger of Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family aims to simplify things by consolidating all family-friendly films on channel 304. Despite the consolidation, viewers will still have access to beloved movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, all under one channel.

While the closure of Sky Cinema Animation may seem like a loss, all content will now be available on Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, Sky has assured customers that Sky Cinema Animation will make a comeback during school holidays from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5, ensuring entertainment for kids when they are not in school.
