World’s top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler remains a strong contender at the prestigious Masters tournament. His impressive round of 65 has positioned him just four strokes behind joint leaders Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young. A victory at the Masters would not only secure Scheffler his third major title but also a substantial cash prize of £3.35 million.

Apart from Scheffler’s potential financial gain, his longtime caddie Ted Scott stands to benefit as well. Typically, caddies receive a percentage of the player’s winnings, with a standard rate around 10% for a victory. While the exact terms of their agreement are undisclosed, it is common for caddies to earn additional compensation based on the player’s performance.

Scheffler, however, has emphasized that monetary rewards are not his primary focus. Despite the potential financial windfall, he maintains a lighthearted attitude towards the financial aspect of the sport, entrusting a team member to handle the financial details.

With a remarkable turnaround in his performance, Scheffler’s chances at the Masters have significantly improved following his stellar round of 65. Looking ahead to the final round, he expressed satisfaction with his game and highlighted the opportunities he created for himself on the course.

As the Masters tournament progresses, golf enthusiasts can catch all the action starting on April 6 with Sky’s Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering a wide range of channels and streaming services for an immersive viewing experience.
