Prince William and Princess Kate marked their 15th wedding anniversary with a visit to IntoUniversity, a charity that received support from their Royal Wedding Gift Fund in 2011. The royal couple, accompanied by students from Victory Primary School, participated in educational activities and workshops at the charity’s Walworth location.
IntoUniversity, an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged youth reach their full potential, was selected as one of the 26 beneficiaries of the Royal Wedding Gift Fund, providing crucial aid during a pivotal period in the charity’s growth.
Established to allow well-wishers to donate to charities in lieu of wedding gifts, the Gift Fund raised over £1 million for causes supported by the royal couple. Today, Prince William and Princess Kate engaged with students in a workshop designed to foster academic success and personal development.
The workshop, part of the ‘FOCUS Days’ program, aimed to introduce students to university life and spark interest in higher education. Activities included exploring Astronomy, teamwork challenges, and a creative task related to space living.
Rachel Carr, Chief Executive and Co-Founder of IntoUniversity, expressed gratitude for the royal couple’s visit, highlighting the enduring impact of the Royal Wedding Gift Fund on the charity’s work and the lives it touches.
Following their charity visit, Prince William and Princess Kate reportedly enjoyed a lunch at The Goring in London, where Kate stayed the night before their 2011 wedding.
In celebration of their anniversary, the royal couple shared a new family photo on social media, depicting them with their children and dogs during a holiday in Cornwall. The image captures a relaxed moment as they mark 15 years of marriage.
Prince William and Princess Kate, who met over two decades ago at the University of St Andrews, have continued to cherish their relationship since their grand wedding day at Westminster Abbey in 2011.
