Police confiscated 13 high-end vehicles, including Lamborghinis, a Ferrari, and a Porsche, after receiving complaints about reckless and disruptive driving on the M11 motorway.
Essex Police responded to reports of a convoy of high-performance cars traveling northbound on the motorway around 4:20 pm on Tuesday. Witnesses observed the cars speeding up abruptly, then suddenly slowing down, along with drivers aggressively braking and causing traffic disturbances, according to Essex Police.
Additionally, the drivers were accused of clustering together and using the hard shoulder to pass other vehicles. Law enforcement officers intercepted the vehicles at Junction 8 and issued 13 warnings for anti-social driving.
Sergeant Will Willsher stated, “The reported behavior was not only anti-social but also endangered other road users, particularly on a busy motorway during peak hours. The Roads Policing Unit promptly located the vehicles and took necessary enforcement actions. Speed limits are in place to ensure everyone’s safety, and the law applies equally to all motorists.”
