Several individuals have been confirmed as casualties following a tragic incident involving both an ambulance and a lorry in Essex. Police, paramedics, and an air ambulance swiftly responded to the A13 and A130 junction at Bowers Gifford, where multiple individuals received on-site medical attention. Subsequently, four individuals were transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further treatment. The East of England Ambulance Service reported the deployment of six ambulances, two paramedic vehicles, and an East Anglian Air Ambulance after receiving reports of the ambulance being part of a collision with one or more vehicles. A total of five patients were assessed at the scene, with four of them being conveyed to the aforementioned hospital by road ambulance. Collision investigation officers were observed at the scene, and motorists were advised to anticipate delays.
