A family has offered a heartfelt tribute to a three-month-old infant who tragically lost her life after a dog attack at a residence in Dormanstown, Redcar on April 9. The baby, named Maggie-May Ann Moody, was reportedly attacked by the dog, which is not of a banned breed.

Following the incident, two men aged 36 and 45, along with a 31-year-old woman, were taken into custody in connection with the case. They have since been released on bail under certain conditions.

In an official statement conveyed through the police, the family expressed profound sorrow over the loss of their beloved Maggie. They described her as a source of joy and purpose, and emphasized the profound impact her absence has left on their lives.

The family also highlighted the deep bond Maggie shared with her siblings, who cherished her dearly. They requested privacy from the media during their mourning process and urged for respect during the upcoming funeral arrangements.

The poignant message concluded with a heartfelt tribute: “Goodnight god bless baby girl x”.
