The babies spent months in the hospital, with Frankie being discharged in February 2026 after a 161-day stay, while Orla required an additional 61 days before the family could finally return home in April of the same year.
Despite being born with significant health challenges, the twins are now thriving. Orla, described as a “little boss lady” by her father, Jack, showed remarkable resilience despite her tiny size, while Frankie is portrayed as a sweet, affectionate boy. The couple shared that they were caught off guard by the premature birth, as Amy’s pregnancy had been uneventful until her 20-week scan.
Orla faced a series of critical health issues, including bowel infections that required multiple surgeries, while Frankie dealt with chronic lung disease and heart complications.
