A man is in critical condition after falling from a Salford tower block early in the morning. The incident occurred at Adelphi Court in the Blackfriars area around 1:10 am on Wednesday, June 17. Police responded to the scene on Cannon Street and found a man in his 30s with severe injuries indicative of a fall from a height.
The injured man was swiftly taken to the hospital, where he remains in a critical state. According to reports from the Manchester Evening News, a 33-year-old man has been arrested by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class A drugs.
Additionally, a 43-year-old man was also apprehended on suspicion of assault causing GBH and possession of an offensive weapon. Both individuals are currently in custody as officers continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
