In Manchester city centre, a 31-year-old man is in critical condition after a deliberate stabbing incident on Peter Street, Deansgate, an area known for its bars and restaurants. The victim was discovered by City of Manchester officers during their routine patrol around 3.40 am.
Following the attack, the victim received immediate medical assistance before being transported to the hospital. He is currently in critical but stable condition as confirmed by Greater Manchester Police. Although an investigation is underway, no arrests have been made yet, and a police cordon remains in place at the site of the crime.
