An overwhelmed Luke Littler was moved to tears following his victory in the 2026 Premier League Darts final against Luke Humphries at the O2 Arena. This win marks Littler’s second Premier League Darts championship at just 19 years old, triumphing over Humphries with a score of 11-10. In a post-match interview, Littler shared that he had contemplated quitting the sport and had a challenging journey leading up to his victory.

Reflecting on his experience, Littler expressed, “It was a turbulent start with me at the bottom of the table for the first four weeks, but on the fifth night, I secured my first win. I faced some tough times and setbacks, like my performance in Brighton with a low average. However, I persevered, and now I stand here with the trophy.”

In other news, Sky has enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle by including popular streaming services such as HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, in addition to offering 135 channels and comprehensive coverage of the Premier League and EFL. Sky continues to deliver extensive live sports coverage, including over 1,400 matches across the Premier League, EFL, Formula 1, darts, and golf, with a substantial number of live broadcasts from the top flight.

During the emotional moment post-victory, Littler could not hold back tears, later revealing that he had considered quitting due to the pressures of competing every week. The incident he referred to involved a gesture towards Gian van Veen, the runner-up in the World Championships to Littler. Humphries provided insight into Littler’s emotional state, attributing it to the significance of the final and the dedication required from players during the demanding 16 to 17-week season.

Humphries remarked, “It is a truly emotional experience, as you witnessed with Luke. These big finals carry immense meaning for us as players. Being on the road for weeks without the presence of family adds to the weight of the competition. Holding that trophy is a culmination of our hard work and dedication. It was a fierce final, one of the greatest in Premier League history, and I am proud to have made it a challenging game.”
