A British traveler was taken into custody following an incident where he allegedly attempted to kiss a flight attendant on the neck during a journey to Spain. The passenger, aged 30, was said to be highly intoxicated and began causing disturbances on the Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Mallorca.
Upon landing, police intervened at Mallorca’s Palma Airport at the request of the pilot, who reported a potential sexual assault. Initially hesitant to press charges, the cabin attendant later decided to provide a formal statement to the authorities.
The individual in question, who had evaded immediate arrest as the flight attendant initially hesitated to file a complaint, was detained as he tried to board his return flight the following day and was brought before a court. Subsequently, he was released on bail pending further investigation into the incident that occurred on June 29 after appearing in court.
The individual’s identity has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether he remains in Mallorca or has departed the island to secure an alternative flight back home. Efforts to obtain comments from Ryanair and the Spanish Civil Guard by The Mirror are ongoing.
