Both police and firefighters were spotted at The Rock car park on Derby Way, off Rochdale Road, this morning. Greater Manchester Police is addressing concerns regarding an individual’s well-being at the car park.

A representative from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service mentioned that their teams are managing an incident on Rochdale Road in Bury and advised residents to avoid the area. Derby Way has been closed due to the ongoing incident at The Rock car park, as seen in the footage showing a cordoned-off area on Derby Way where officers are attending to concerns about a person’s welfare.

Greater Manchester Police has officially verified that they are addressing worries about an individual’s well-being at The Rock car park. The Fire and Rescue Service reiterated the message for residents to stay away from the area while emergency responders handle the situation.
