Tens of thousands of emails concerning Andrew’s controversial financial activities were reportedly provided to Buckingham Palace six years ago, according to court documents. The emails, allegedly obtained from a former business associate and sent to the Lord Chamberlain in 2020, purportedly contained detailed information about the ex-prince’s actions and financial behavior during his tenure as a UK trade envoy. The Mirror has reached out to Andrew’s representatives and Buckingham Palace for comments on the matter.

In related news, a prominent policing union has assured that victims of Jeffrey Epstein will be treated with care, compassion, and respect amid concerns that some individuals are hesitant to come forward. A spokesperson from the National Police Chiefs’ Council stated that efforts have been made to contact victim-survivors who have previously shared their experiences publicly. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of providing support to those affected and encouraged them to come forward at their own pace.

American lawyer Brad Edwards, who represents several Epstein victims, revealed that he has clients willing to discuss the former prince but harbor reservations about UK police procedures and privacy issues. Detectives investigating Andrew are now expected to examine allegations of sexual impropriety as part of their inquiry into potential misconduct in public office. The scope of the offense being investigated includes a broad range of behaviors such as sharing confidential financial data, financial impropriety, neglect of duty, and sexual misconduct, among others.

Thames Valley Police detectives are reportedly concerned that public perception may inaccurately focus solely on accusations related to Andrew’s role as a trade envoy, rather than the broader legal implications under investigation. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with his association with Epstein, who passed away in 2019.
