UK Man Dies in Fall from Spain Hill

A man from the United Kingdom has passed away following a fall from a hill in the northeastern region of Spain, as per reports. The 38-year-old individual is said to have fallen from a significant height on Mount Urgull in San Sebastian around 11 am local time on Saturday, according to the Department of Security.

Emergency response teams, including firefighters and officers from the Basque police force, were sent to the location and confirmed the discovery of the man’s body along the Paseo Nuevo promenade. The Spanish authorities have initiated an inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the British man’s death, and his body has been taken to the Basque Institute of Legal Medicine for a postmortem examination.

Mount Urgull, a historic hill standing at 403 feet, is situated in San Sebastian between the city’s Old Town and La Concha Bay.
