A 15-year-old boy tragically lost his life after a tree fell on him in Stafford, with his identity revealed in a recent photograph.
The victim, Brodan Dubickas, a student at Sir Graham Balfour School, was declared deceased at the scene in Holmcroft Park on Saturday, May 2. Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and an air ambulance, responded to the incident at 6:30 pm, but sadly, Brodan was pronounced dead approximately an hour later.
A blue tent was set up within a police cordon at the scene, as reported by Stoke on Trent Live, which remained in place the following day.
In a social media post, Tillington Manor Primary School paid tribute to Brodan, expressing sorrow over his untimely passing and acknowledging his time at their school. The post conveyed condolences to Brodan’s family, friends, and the wider community, emphasizing the impact he had on those around him.
Staffordshire Police confirmed that despite efforts from paramedics, Brodan could not be saved following the tree incident. The statement detailed the response to the scene and the unfortunate outcome, with the boy being pronounced dead just after 7:30 pm. Family members have been informed of the tragic event.
