“Epstein’s UK Hideaway: Victims Speak Out”

Recent revelations show that Jeffrey Epstein provided accommodation for his victims in upscale apartments in a wealthy area of the UK following the decision by the Metropolitan Police to not investigate his criminal activities. The Epstein files, released by the US government earlier this year, disclosed that the notorious sex offender and trafficker rented four high-end flats in Kensington and Chelsea.

Receipts, emails, and bank records found in the documents indicate that six women who stayed in these apartments have now come forward as victims of the pedophile. An investigation by the BBC revealed that these women, hailing from Russia, Europe, and various parts of the world, were brought to the UK after the Metropolitan Police declined to probe an allegation made by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre about being trafficked to London.

Despite multiple opportunities to investigate, the Metropolitan Police chose not to initiate a criminal inquiry after interviewing Ms. Giuffre in 2015 and 2016. This decision persisted even after subsequent reviews in 2019, 2021, and 2022, when new information surfaced. The police force consulted British prosecutors and US authorities during this process.

The London service spokesperson stated that based on legal advice, it was determined that any investigation into human trafficking would predominantly involve activities outside the UK, with perpetrators located overseas. Consequently, it was deemed more appropriate for international authorities to handle these allegations. As a result, in November 2016, a decision was made to forego a full criminal investigation.

Ms. Giuffre alleged that Epstein trafficked her to the UK for sexual encounters with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in 2001 at the residence of his associate, Virginia Giuffre. Andrew, who has consistently denied any misconduct, settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022 outside of court without accepting liability.
