A woman lying in a hospital bed was apprehended on murder charges for fatally slashing her sister’s throat, leaving the gruesome discovery for her own daughter to stumble upon. The Metropolitan Police released footage of an officer informing Nancy Pexton of her arrest in connection with the killing of her sister, Jennifer Abbott, aged 69. Pexton, 70, was convicted after committing the heinous act in their Camden residence, leaving Jennifer lifeless on the floor.
Pexton orchestrated a cruel plan by dispatching her daughter to the scene, knowing she would find her deceased aunt. The victim’s pet Corgi was found alive in distress, locked in a bathroom for days. Following the brutal incident on June 10 last year, Pexton inflicted fatal wounds on Jennifer in the kitchen before concealing the body in another room, camouflaging it with tape and a covering.
After fleeing the scene and claiming a drug overdose to her physician, Pexton was taken into custody. Despite her denials, she was found guilty by a jury and emotionally reacted to the verdict during the court session. The prosecutor highlighted the grim details of the crime scene, emphasizing Pexton’s deceitful actions even regarding personal belongings.
