A tragic incident in Essex has resulted in the death of a young boy following a collision with a lorry. The fatal accident occurred on Epping Road in Ongar around 4:20 pm on Friday. A 48-year-old man from Derbyshire was taken into custody on suspicion of causing serious injuries through dangerous driving.
Essex Police reported that the child succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, leading to the driver’s subsequent arrest on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The family of the deceased boy is receiving support from specialized officers during this difficult time.
