The family of a young man, Iretomiwa Abiodun Micheal, also known as Tomiwa, is mourning his tragic death after he encountered difficulties while swimming in a lake. The 16-year-old was retrieved from Swanholme Lakes in Lincoln and rushed to the hospital last week. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away at 8:50 pm on July 9, shortly after being rescued from the water about three hours earlier.
His loved ones have shared a heartfelt tribute through Lincolnshire Police, describing Tomiwa as a vibrant and unforgettable young man whose presence brightened every room he entered. They highlighted his role as the eldest of four brothers, praising his leadership qualities, protective nature, and constant support for his siblings.
