A postman from Royal Mail was filmed urinating in front of a house in Nottingham, causing annoyance and upset to the residents. The incident was captured by a Ring doorbell camera as the postman made his rounds in Wollaton, Nottingham, around 11:30 am on a Saturday when no one was home.
Video footage shows the postman unzipping his shorts to relieve himself by a wall near a garden gate. The mother of one of the residents expressed surprise and disappointment, mentioning that they would have questioned him through the camera if they had seen him in time.
Although understanding of urgent needs, the resident pointed out the proximity of a Post Office just minutes away and expressed frustration that the postman did not attempt to use it or ask a neighbor for help.
Royal Mail issued an apology for the incident, promising to investigate the matter thoroughly. They reached out to the property occupants, expressing regret for the disrespectful behavior of their employee and assuring that appropriate actions would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail confirmed the ongoing investigation, emphasizing that such behavior does not align with the company’s standards.
