Poland Deploys F-16 Jets to Intercept Russian Aircraft

Poland’s defense minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, has confirmed that two F-16 fighter jets were deployed to intercept a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft flying approximately 40km north of Kolobrzeg over the Baltic Sea. This interception was in response to the latest incident involving Russian military activity near Polish airspace.
