Meghan Markle celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary with Prince Harry by sharing a series of photos on Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex posted 24 pictures giving a glimpse of their 2018 wedding day.
The photos were divided into two posts, showcasing the daytime ceremony at Windsor Castle and the lively evening reception. Alongside shots of the couple, some images included family members like Meghan’s mother Doria and King Charles.
One particular photo captured Meghan looking towards Charles at Windsor Castle before the ceremony, where Charles walked her down the aisle. Another image showed Charles watching Harry greeting guests at the church entrance.
Amid rumors of tension between Charles and the couple, Meghan’s anniversary post included a photo of Charles, raising speculation after reports that a wedding picture had been removed from his home. Royal fans noticed the absence during a recent event hosted by royal photographer Chris Jackson at the Highgrove estate.
Grant Harrold, a former butler at Highgrove, suggested that it was King Charles who decided to remove the picture. In addition to the photo featuring Charles, Meghan shared more wedding snapshots taken by photographer Chris Allerton, including intimate moments and official portraits.
The photos also captured Harry and Meghan’s first dance and a kiss on their wedding evening, marking their fairy-tale ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle eight years ago. The post provided a nostalgic look back at their special day, showcasing various heartfelt moments shared between the couple.
