A man is in critical condition after an axe attack at Acton Park earlier this month. Adam Abdillahi, 45, from Australia Road, Hammersmith and Fulham, was apprehended on April 9 on suspicion of attempted murder and charged the next day. He appeared at Ealing Magistrates’ Court and was held in custody. Another man, aged 44, was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on April 4 and later released on bail.
According to a spokesperson for the Met Police, officers responded to a disturbance in Ealing’s parkland on April 2. They found a 31-year-old man with a stab wound on a footpath and provided immediate assistance. The victim was treated on-site by emergency services and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Detective Inspector John Gillespie, leading the investigation, expressed concern for the victim and urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. The incident occurred near a busy road, tennis courts, and a golf course. The investigation is ongoing, and individuals with relevant details are encouraged to contact the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
