A male individual faces charges related to the homicide of a mother-of-seven who disappeared from the West Midlands in 1998. Trevor Dunkley, aged 66, has been accused in connection with the death of Patricia Lashley, who was last sighted at her residence on Hall Street, Dudley, in September 1998, as reported by West Midlands Police. Dunkley has been detained for a court appearance at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday, according to the authorities.
Law enforcement officers are providing assistance to Ms. Lashley’s family and are seeking additional details from individuals who had knowledge of the woman around the time of her vanishing. Known among acquaintances as Pat or Jade, Ms. Lashley was 33 years old when she went missing and had affiliations with Newcastle, London, Wales, and Scotland. She also went by the names Vanessa, Tricia, and used the surname Bradford.
Authorities mentioned that Ms. Lashley relocated to Dudley in the mid-1990s and frequented the No Limits club and various pubs in the vicinity. It is believed that she was acquainted with Trevor Dunkley.
Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell stated, “We are interested in hearing from anyone who may have had interactions with Patricia or Trevor Dunkley. She was known within Dudley town center and Oldbury. If anyone recalls any details or possesses information that could aid our investigation, please reach out. Even if you previously provided information when Patricia first disappeared, we encourage you to contact us as we strive to gather all relevant information to assist her family in finding closure after nearly three decades.”
