Police are still investigating the death of Ann Widdecombe, with a man arrested over the weekend on suspicion of her murder. The 28-year-old suspect was taken into custody in South Yorkshire, while a 26-year-old man was released earlier without charge.
Devon and Cornwall Police disclosed that the former MP and MEP was killed in her remote home on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Her body was found nearly 24 hours after the incident.
