His parents, Damon, 31, and Alexandria Wing, 29, shared their grief and emphasized the importance of understanding family medical histories and genetic testing to prevent such tragedies.
Following the loss of their son, the Wings had their daughters screened for heart conditions, with no abnormalities detected. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the family with medical expenses, funeral costs, and daily needs. The fundraiser has already raised over $22,000 in contributions.
