Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly anxious about potential assassination attempts and has relocated his two older daughters to his heavily guarded forest complex worth £1.4 billion. This concern arises from his dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in the Ukrainian conflict and the declining Russian economy.

In response to these fears, Putin has directed immediate assessments of Russia’s special surveillance camera system to prevent potential hacking threats that could compromise his whereabouts. His heavily fortified residence in the Novgorod region, where he resides with his partner Alina Kabaeva and her two children, is equipped with its own air defense mechanisms.

While facing challenges in defending against Ukrainian drone attacks, Putin has bolstered security measures with armed guards and anti-missile systems. A recent incident involving a drone strike in St Petersburg during a trade forum highlighted vulnerabilities in his security protocols.

The Russian leader’s apprehension has escalated following the assassination of the Iranian Ayatollah Khemenei through a compromised surveillance system. Putin’s reluctance to engage in ceasefire talks with Ukraine despite multiple proposals from President Volodymyr Zelensky has increased concerns about potential threats.

Reports suggest that Putin’s daughters Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, both wealthy individuals, have moved to the Valdai palace for enhanced safety. The Valdai complex, known for its advanced security features including a bunker, aims to shield his daughters and grandchildren from potential attacks.

The Valdai residence, located approximately 230 miles northwest of Moscow, houses two of Putin’s daughters, while another daughter, Luiza Rozova, is primarily based in Paris. Their mother, Svetlana Krivinogikh, Putin’s former partner, has a diverse background, with Vorontsova focusing on endocrinology and Tikhonova involved in science and technology.

Putin’s ex-wife, Lyudmila Putina, is the mother of his daughters. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which commenced in February 2022, has resulted in significant casualties for Russia and adversely impacted its economy. The continuous drone missions by Ukraine have further weakened Russia’s energy and industrial sectors.
