The captain of the England national team has had an infrared sauna placed in the bedroom of his new property located in the Home Counties. Additionally, the luxurious bedroom suite includes separate dressing rooms for the Bayern Munich forward, 32, and his 33-year-old wife, Kate.
Prominent athletes like Ronaldo and Kane are increasingly opting for saunas and spas in their residences. These facilities assist in muscle recovery, pain relief, and detoxification.
In contrast to traditional saunas that warm the air, infrared saunas utilize light waves to directly heat the body at lower, more comfortable temperatures.
Typically, these saunas are set to temperatures ranging from 46 to 65°C, making them ideal for post-exercise recovery sessions. Construction workers have recently completed the final details of the residence belonging to the iconic Three Lions player in Surrey. The property also boasts a lift from the basement to the top floor of the extravagant new dwelling. Below ground, a swimming pool, bar area, treatment room, and gym have been constructed. The Bayern Munich star, whose contract with the German club ends next year, has also included a golf simulator and a ‘glam room’ adjacent to the separate dressing areas for him and his wife. The footballer spent £6 million on a property on the site, demolishing it to build a neo-Georgian home.
