“Four Teens Arrested in Leeds McDonald’s Stabbing”

Four adolescents have been apprehended following an incident where a man was stabbed outside a McDonald’s in Leeds. Emergency responders were summoned to Briggate after a disturbance was reported at 9:08 pm on April 28, resulting in a 34-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was swiftly taken to the hospital, and his condition is reported as non-life-threatening.

Subsequent to the occurrence, a police cordon was established outside the McDonald’s and along a pedestrianized area as authorities utilized cameras to collect evidence. West Yorkshire Police took into custody four teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16, at the site of the assault near the intersection of Briggate and Boar Lane. The teenagers have been released on bail while investigations are ongoing.

Law enforcement has not disclosed further details regarding the incident’s motive or specifics. A statement from a police spokesperson to The Mirror confirmed the suspects’ bail status, stating, “At 9:08 pm on April 28, officers responded to an altercation at Briggate in Leeds. A 34-year-old man was hospitalized with a stab wound to his abdomen. He is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Four teenage boys aged 13 to 16 were apprehended on suspicion of assault at the scene and are presently in custody. Leeds CID is actively pursuing inquiries.”
