A British travel influencer, Rachel Kerr, who disappeared in Morocco after a night out, has been found safe several days later. Kerr, 31, left the SMART Nightclub in Agadir around 5 am on April 25, and checked out of her hotel, causing concern among her family. However, local police in Agadir have located her in an apartment.
Ayoub Zaroual, a member of the Caribbean Village Agador Hotel Facebook group, confirmed the news, stating that the police found Kerr safe in an apartment after she voluntarily left her hotel. The Agadir Security Authority initiated an investigation upon receiving a report of her disappearance on April 27, and confirmed that Kerr had entered Morocco on March 30.
Authorities clarified that Kerr had not encountered any threats to her safety and that she was still in Morocco, maintaining contact with her brother who arrived in Agadir on April 22. Kerr’s cousin, Claire Hill, expressed concern on social media and appealed for information on her whereabouts. Scottish police have been informed, and Kerr’s relatives are en route to Agadir to assist in the search.
Speculation arose about the nightclub Kerr visited, with some tourists mentioning concerns about drink spiking. Kerr, known for sharing travel videos and modeling work, had expressed her passion for exploring new places and meeting people. Her social media activity ceased two weeks prior to her disappearance.
