Kevin Gahan, who tragically died on May 19, was described as ‘a true gentleman’ and ‘an inspiring teacher’ by those who knew him well. His family shared the sad news via RIP.ie, stating, “It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic death of Kevin on May 19, 2026.”
Kevin, who was married to Elaine, was a dedicated educator at Gorey Community School, specializing in science, physics, and biology for many years. Former colleagues remember him as a committed professional who motivated both students and staff.
Messages of condolence flooded in, with one tribute expressing, “So saddened to hear of Kevin’s untimely death. I have fond memories of working with him in Gorey CS.
