Prince Louis made his debut at a significant sports event alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales and his siblings during the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The royal family, including Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, enjoyed watching netball and track cycling, sitting behind the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and British cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy.

Prince Edward engaged with Prince George and Princess Charlotte during the event, sparking social media buzz about their close relationship. Fans expressed delight at witnessing these intimate family moments, emphasizing the importance of multigenerational bonding within the Royal Family.

This marked Louis’ first appearance with his older siblings at a major sports outing, as he joined them for the Commonwealth Games. The royal children’s presence in Scotland was a surprise, as it was kept undisclosed until they arrived in Glasgow.

The family received a warm reception at the arena as they awaited the Women’s Netball match between Australia and Jamaica. Later, Prince William and Catherine planned to meet with Team Wales athletes and families, as well as athletes supported by the charity SportsAid, a cause Catherine has championed since 2013.

The Commonwealth Games, known as “the friendly games,” commenced with a grand Opening Ceremony featuring iconic appearances like the King and Queen emerging from Doctor Who’s Tardis.
