Princess Eugenie expressed heartfelt gratitude to her husband on Father’s Day but did not mention her own father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. To commemorate the occasion, Eugenie, who is expecting her third child, shared never-before-seen photos of her husband, Jack Brooksbank, with their two sons, August and Ernest. One photo captured Jack walking hand-in-hand with the boys, while another showed him entertaining one of their sons with toys and football stickers in a church setting.

In her tribute, Eugenie praised her husband as the “chief child entertainer” and expressed that their sons have a wonderful father. Despite the acknowledgment of her husband, Eugenie did not reference her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who faced legal issues earlier in the year and was stripped of his royal titles.

The royal announcement of Eugenie’s pregnancy last May was met with joy from the royal family. The upcoming baby, who will not hold a royal title, will be the 15th in line to the throne, pushing Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, down to 16th place. This child will be the 15th great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the third to be born posthumously.

The new baby will be the fifth grandchild of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, following the birth of Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Athena Mapelli Mozzi, in January last year. On Father’s Day, other royals also shared messages on social media, including a tribute from the Royal Family account to the late Prince Philip and a birthday wish for Prince William from his daughter, Princess Charlotte.

Meghan Markle also honored Prince Harry on Father’s Day with a touching message and a photo of Harry with their children, Archie and Lilibet. The image showed Archie in an England top and Princess Lilibet with a toy giraffe. Meghan shared the post ahead of England’s upcoming World Cup match against Ghana.
