A tragic incident in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, resulted in the death of a 16-year-old girl who was hit by a car. The vehicle involved was reported to be a silver Ford Fiesta. Following the accident, a 19-year-old male was taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
