An individual involved in drug dealing, who flaunted his opulent lifestyle on Instagram by exhibiting Rolex watches, driving a Lamborghini, and spending over £1,200 on a meal at Salt Bae’s restaurant, has been sent to prison.
Jordan Woolmer, aged 28, was handed a 10-and-a-half-year jail term for the distribution of cocaine and cannabis after a comprehensive police investigation spanning four years.
Law enforcement officers discovered multiple social media posts where Woolmer showcased his lavish existence, featuring images of him driving high-end vehicles and posing in a Bentley while adorned with a Rolex timepiece.
One photo depicted him dining at Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et London steakhouse, where he amassed a bill exceeding £1,200, all paid in cash.
Residing in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, Woolmer was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on June 12. The court learned that the in-depth investigation commenced after Woolmer and co-accused Kacper Burzynski were apprehended in Northampton in 2022, leading to the seizure of 450g of cannabis, 83g of cocaine, and £7,000 in cash.
During subsequent inquiries, authorities retrieved a £12,500 Rolex watch, £20,000 in cash from a rented residence, and designer attire from his domicile. Nearly a year later, Woolmer’s fingerprints were identified on over £14,000 found at a property in Leicester.
Just four days thereafter, forensic evidence linked him to 500g of cocaine discovered in a storage unit in Rutland after his fingerprints were traced on the packaging.
On May 24, 2024, police re-apprehended him following the confiscation of an additional 500g of cocaine, designer clothing, and £16,000 in cash from two properties in Burton Latimer.
Throughout the investigation, authorities seized £57,465 in cash, one kilogram of cocaine, 500g of cannabis, and clothing valued at £34,680.
Detective Constable James Roe from Northamptonshire Police expressed, “No individual should profit from proceeds earned through criminal activities.
“Jordan Woolmer believed he could sustain a lifestyle beyond his legal means and couldn’t resist showcasing his extravagant life on Instagram.
“This extensive and meticulous investigation led to Woolmer’s conviction, and we are content that the severity of the crimes and our team’s unwavering dedication are reflected in the sentence imposed.”
He was given an additional one year and 10 months for violating a suspended sentence order, along with three months for driving while disqualified and unlicensed. Moreover, he received a seven-year and three-month driving ban.
