Recently released footage captures a bold incident where a former lawyer and her accomplice were confronted by restaurant staff before making a quick exit without settling their £62 bill.

Despite being wanted by the police for multiple alleged dine and dash incidents, Kerry Stevens has resurfaced in Disneyland Paris, following the incident at The Castle Inn in Little Wakering, Essex. Stevens faced disbarment after being found guilty of failing to pay a bill at a Harvester restaurant.

Avoiding court appearances on nine occasions, Stevens is currently the subject of four arrest warrants. Social media photos show her in Disneyland Paris, with a family friend suggesting she has fled to the historical region of Lorraine (Grand Est) in northeastern France.

The new footage captures a tense interaction inside the empty Castle Inn, where Stevens and her alleged partner-in-crime Daniel Alani attempted to leave without paying £62.20.

The video shows an exchange at the restaurant involving Stevens and three others. It depicts the 40-year-old sitting at a table, placing a bag beside her, and being joined by Alani at an adjacent table.

A man standing up engages in conversation with the former lawyer, who then promptly grabs her bag and attempts to leave. Another man appears to try to stop her, leading to a brief confrontation.

The situation escalates as Stevens tries to exit but faces further obstruction, eventually being pushed back into the room before the footage ends. Due to the lack of audio, the exact nature of the discussion remains unclear.

According to the restaurant staff, the couple fled after consuming prawn cocktail, breaded mushrooms, two roast chicken dinners with extra lamb, two cokes, an orange juice, and a medium glass of pinot wine.

Landlord Ken Todd of The Castle Inn recalled the incident, mentioning the couple’s attempted escape routes through the back door and bathroom window.

Stevens was previously seen in social media posts at Disneyland Paris, wearing Mickey Mouse ears and holding a bubble-wand. Reports indicate she fled to France after repeated court no-shows, despite family pleas for her to stay.

Early images of Stevens in legal attire circulated online following her alleged involvement in targeting restaurants and taxi companies.

Facing charges of eleven counts of making off without payment and one count of shop theft in 2024, Stevens denies the accusations and is scheduled for trial later this year. Stevens and Daniel Alani were initially investigated for a dine and dash incident where they were stopped by patrons at a pub after attempting to flee without paying.

Steve Yeung of The Pearl Dragon restaurant also reported the couple leaving without paying a £127 bill after consuming multiple dishes and drinks. Alani, an electrician, admitted guilt to theft-related charges earlier this year.
