Authorities have initiated a homicide investigation following the fatal stabbing of a man in Manchester.
Law enforcement officials are maintaining a presence at Raby Street in Moss Side today after an incident was reported at 11 pm last night. According to a spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police, a man in his thirties was hospitalized with injuries indicative of a stabbing.
An 18-year-old suspect has been apprehended on suspicion of murder and is currently detained for interrogation. A forensic tent has been set up within the cordoned area on Raby Street, where forensic experts are conducting examinations.

The family of the deceased victim has been notified and is receiving assistance from specialized officers. The man who lost his life was in his thirties.
According to a statement issued by Greater Manchester Police, a map indicates the location on Raby Street in Moss Side where a police cordon has been established following an assault report around 11 pm last night.
A man in his thirties was discovered at the scene with injuries consistent with a stabbing and was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
