A woman’s mother has been missing for three months after disappearing from a campsite in France, as shared by her daughter.
Stephanie Thomson, 75, a retiree, was last spotted at Camping les Vigeres in Le Chalard, within France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine area, on January 29. She had been living her retirement dream in the French countryside with her husband Ken since their relocation in 2012.
However, the idyllic retirement took a nightmarish turn when Stephanie went missing after a visit to a nearby supermarket. Tracy, her 55-year-old daughter from Redcar, Teesside, expressed the unbearable agony of waiting for information.
The past three months without her mother have been described by Tracy as “a living hell,” a situation she never imagined her family would face. “The uncertainty of her whereabouts is one of the most challenging aspects to comprehend,” she said. Tracy hopes for her mother’s safety but is tormented by various scenarios constantly playing in her mind.
